Similar to freelance writing, writing for HubPages deserves a separate page on this site. HubPages is a site (similar to Squidoo) which allows you to create single page articles or “sites”. These pages are then published for other Hubpages readers and are typically indexed by the search engines.
Writing for Hubpages is easier than writing for your own blog, because all the work of maintaining a blog is eliminated. Furthermore, because of the standing and traffic that Hubpages generates on its own, you can get readers quicker. With that said, Hubpages owns your content and also takes 40% of your ad clicks if you sync your Adsense account to Hubpages.
My favorite method is to use Hubpages in conjunction with my overall online income strategy. For example, I use Hubpages to generate some side money, generate backlinks to my blog(s), and also drive traffic to my blog(s). Lastly, I do attempt to drive traffic to some affiliate links from my “hubs” but this is fairly minimal.
