Google Adsense income can fluctuate big time month to month for your website or online business. As such, I believe the three month average is the best tool to use when it comes to measuring growth.
I’m of the opinion that tracking every aspect of your web business is crucial for success. For me, I track detailed traffic numbers as well as income numbers every single month. Then, I compare how I’m doing on a month-to-month basis in each category. Adsense is no different.
Since Adsense jumps around significantly, track your progress using a three month average. If you see growth in the three month average, you’re in good shape. Don’t be discouraged by a drop one month. If your three month average is trending higher, that’s all you should worry about.
