As many of you know, I’m a big fan of precious metals in the physical form – not paper gold or financial instruments that mimic the price of gold – all of these instruments can be manipulated. Physical gold is very tough to manipulate (even thought it is manipulated over the short term by various parties), and physical gold is a chance to bring some of your assets outside the financial system.
There is a great deal of risk in the system today. The financial system is a house of cards built on government money and phony profits. If you own gold and keep it in a safety deposit box, the problem is that you might find the bank closed when you want and need your gold. As such, you need to keep your physical gold (and silver) hidden on your property or somewhere only you can access and know about. You can find a number of ways to accomplish this by searching the internet for gold hiding places. Whether its your yard or some false storage spaces in your house, it’s a good idea to start to think about this.
The U.S. Gold Bureau offers gold, silver and platinum direct to the public. Top-sellers include gold bars, bullion coins, 1oz gold coins, silver bars and Gold American Eagles.
